Ceramic chip inductors (multilayer structure) aim at high frequency applications, such as signal shaping and RF filtering, in a wide range of electronic systems. The high-frequency ceramic inductors have different sizes and features with very low core losses, high Q, and low inductance value. With the dimensions of multilayer ceramic chip inductors ranging from 0603(0201) to 3216(1206), Multilayer chip inductor feature at lower cost and miniature size compared with wire-wound inductor. The product has a ceramic body and possesses a high Q value and very low dc resistance at high frequency.

The multilayer inductor builds up the gap between the wirewound and thin-file type of RF inductor. the ceramic miniature chip inductor is designed for high frequency circuits applications from 10 MHz to GHz. The requirement for high frequency applications needs high-quality factor (Q factor), SRF and some applications also need a tight inductance value. SMD ceramic chip inductors use the multilayer technology and provide the precisely inductance value. It is suitable for Bluetooth devices, mobile phones, wireless LAN. . .etc.
