The 82 mH / 2.5 A CMT2214BNA is designed for renewable energy inverters, smart grid systems, and other power electronics requiring strong low-frequency EMI suppression. Its compact 28×18×32 mm design ensures easy integration into space-constrained layouts while delivering stable performance under demanding thermal conditions.
Engineers often struggle with passing compliance tests in the 0.1–3 MHz band, where many amorphous chokes underperform. The CMT2214BNA solves this with impedance above 1,000 Ω across 1 kHz–3 MHz and a peak exceeding 30,000 Ω around 150 kHz, eliminating the need for additional bulky filters.
By combining wideband suppression with a nanocrystalline core, the 82 mH / 2.5 A model ensures smoother certification, reduced rework costs, and long-term system reliability. Its ability to balance compact size, strong attenuation, and consistent 2.5 A current handling makes it an ideal choice for renewable and grid-connected applications.
