Nanocrystalline Common Mode Choke – 4000 µH, 11A Irms (40.5 × 25 × 37 mm)
Built with a high-permeability nanocrystalline core, this common mode choke delivers strong EMI suppression across a wide frequency range.
Its 40.5 × 25 × 37 mm footprint provides room for a 4000 µH inductance while maintaining an 11A Irms current rating, making it suitable for AC/DC power lines, SMPS designs, motor drives, EV charging systems, and other high-noise industrial or energy applications.
Many engineers encounter EMI issues when ferrite chokes lose inductance at high temperatures or fail to provide enough attenuation at higher frequencies.
Compared with a Mn-Zn ferrite choke of the same size, a nanocrystalline design can typically achieve around 20% higher current capability while also reducing DCR by roughly 30%, thanks to its higher μ and lower core loss.
This helps maintain stable performance from –40°C to 150°C and significantly improves the chances of passing EMC tests on the first attempt.
