The semi-magnetic shielding inductor utilize the new technology of magnetic epoxy to instead traditional ferrite shield ring core. The shielding substance on the inductor contains magnetic powder such as soft manetic metal and envelops the winding. Hence compare to conventional non-shielded inductor, this model enhanced magnetic shielding and reduced uncontrolled magnetic coupling of the winding and radiation emissions. Furthermore, the footprint for this model is only 2.1x2.1mm with low profile 1.2mm height, the highest saturated current is 1.9A at inductance 1uH. This resin-shielded inductor greatly reduced the footprint and more competitive price compare to original shielded inductor with ferrite ring core. This semi-shielded inductor build the bridge between conventional SMD shielded and SMD non-shielded power inductor. Whole series is RoHS-compliant and halogen free.
