Semi-shielded smd inductor with foot print 2.5x2.5 and height 1.0 mm. The structure for this semi shielded inductor is consisted of a copper wire spirally wound around the ferrite core. The highest saturated current is 0.88A at 4.7uH. The winding is covered with special resine which contains magnetic powder such as soft manetic metal. Coilmaster also developed the various resins to achieve customer's characteristic requirement. Two purpose for this magnetic resin, improve the strength of the product, offer better inductance value, protect the winding and achieve lower dc resistance. Compare to conventional shielded inductor with ring core, this resin coating inductor is the bridge of shielded and non-shielded power inductor, this model is more cost effective and stable quality due to full automated production process.
