The SDS Series are shielded power inductors designed for stable DC-DC conversion in a wide range of compact electronics. By utilizing a magnetically sealed drum-core structure, the SDS family minimizes EMI leakage while maintaining reliable energy storage and bias characteristics. Its closed magnetic path construction ensures consistent inductance accuracy in noise-sensitive circuits, while offering a cost-efficient solution for mainstream power applications.


The SDS platform is optimized for flexible design requirements, offering multiple ferrite options (Ni-Zn and Mn-Zn), a broad inductance range, and a wide selection of industry-standard footprints from 3.0 mm to 12.0 mm. Each option delivers a different balance of DCR, saturation current, and voltage capability, enabling engineers to match performance to specific cost, size, or power targets. Custom inductance values are available for footprint-compatible replacements.

Core & Performance Options

Multiple core materials are selectable based on efficiency or current requirements. Ni-Zn cores offer strong EMI suppression and stable performance for standard DC-DC stages, while Mn-Zn cores provide higher current capability with reduced DCR—ideal for higher-power designs.

Design Flexibility & Footprint Choice

Available in square and low-profile surface mount packages, the SDS Series supports footprint compatibility for replacements, extending lifespan in existing designs while minimizing redesign effort. Optional plastic base versions increase mechanical durability in harsh vibration or high-temperature applications.
